Welcome
Welcome to the Greater Pittsburgh Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Venturing Division.
As of January 1, 1999, the Greater Pittsburgh Council has been actively maintaining and promoting the Venturing Program within the Boy Scouts of America for the continued development of co-ed youth. This program has been rewardingly successful for our council.
Our Venturing Officers Association (VOA) regularly meets the second Tuesday of each month at our council office. Our council level activities are youth (under age 21) run and adult (over age 21) advised. We have been recognized nationally as a model council for Venturing.
Our council Venturing membership now numbers over 3000 youth and 500 adults and covers 11 districts.
Please enjoy and use our council resources, including this website, to develop your crews and the youth of your area.
